Credit Retrieval
Students who have failed classes that are required for
graduation will need to discuss with their counselor how to
make up those classes before they can graduate. Options for
credit retrieval include Night Academy (fall and spring),
Summer School and Internet Courses.
Under
some circumstances, courses in approved, accredited
correspondence programs may be taken for credit to meet
graduation requirements and/or minimum college admission
requirements with prior counselor written approval.
Correspondence/Internet courses that require a school
district proctor for the final exam will also require a
$25.00 proctoring fee. If courses are to count toward a
senior’s graduation, a student must submit all work
no later than June 1. The most common reasons for
correspondence and/or Internet coursework include: credit
retrieval, foreign study, and health issues.
