Hello Liberty Families.

 

Happy summer to all of you! The change from the record-setting heat in late July to the more typical temperatures in early August may have you looking at the calendar and realizing that school starts in less than four weeks.   

 

The LHS staff is busy making preparations for your students as we head into the 2009/2010 school year.  I encourage you to check out our website at www.liberty.issaquah.wednet for current information that will be helpful to you.

 

Our first priority in August is “Summer Check-In” for all students. 

 

This year we have added the capability to complete your “Summer Check-In” online.  We hope you are as excited as we are about this new option and find it convenient and user friendly.

 

Beginning Monday, August 17^th you will be able to:

• confirm of your intent to attend Liberty
• confirm your Demographic information
• review your student’s schedule
• pay outstanding fines and fees
• purchase ASB cards, books, PE shirts, yearbooks, etc. 
• download and print a:

• Confidential Emergency Health Information Form
• Individual User Access Informed Consent and Release Form
• parking pass form
• lunch release form for juniors and seniors
• athletics forms

• Sign up for PTSA, Booster Club and/or Issaquah Schools Foundation

• Each of these organizations is vital to the outstanding programs LHS is able to offer.  PTSA consistently supports us in curricular endeavors, Booster Club in co-curricular, and ISF in funding large program needs.  Please make it a priority to support these groups. 

 

As stated above, you may access this new online option from the LHS website beginning Monday, August 17^th.    Please watch for a follow up e-news later this week with more details and specific directions regarding the online option.

 

If you do not have access to the internet to complete the Summer Check-in at home, you are welcome to come to the school during our scheduled August business hours.  Computers will be available for this purpose in the Counseling Office. 

 

If you prefer to take care of Summer Check-in in person, the staff will be here to assist you.  The summer newsletter has a calendar with posted business hours.  For your convenience, the calendar is also posted on the website.
