Dear Liberty Families:

Here are a few reminders and updates before school begins on Wednesday, September 2^nd:

Our building is closed on Thursday, August 27^th. We will reopen again on Friday, August 28^th at 7:30am – 2pm. Regular business hours will begin on Monday, August 31^st / 7:00am – 3:00pm.

If you have not already verified your student’s attendance to Liberty for the upcoming school year, please do so by midnight tonight (Tuesday, August 25^th). Sign on to Family Access and follow the directions. The on-line option to verify will not be available after tonight. If for some reason you encounter difficulties, please call or email our Registrar, Leanne Riding at (425) 837-4853 or ridingl@issaquah.wednet.edu.

This is a reminder that Liberty is hosting a Fall Sports Parent Night on Monday, August 31^st @6:30pm in our auditorium. Attending the Fall Sports Parent Night is encouraged and a great opportunity to:

Meet and hear from the Athletic Director, Stark Porter and Principal, Mike DeLetis
Receive important eligibility information
Meet your coaches and get all of your questions answered about the upcoming season
Sign up to volunteer for any team events that need parent assistance
Meet your Booster Club Reps & sign up to become a Booster Club Member and
Purchase Booster Club merchandise

Sign-ups for Volunteer Opportunities at Liberty High School are Available On-line – if you would like to become more involved at LHS this year by tutoring, making copies, providing food, judging grants, helping with fine art, organizing a field trip, speaking to a class, chaperoning a dance, etc. learn more or sign up by going to: http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/survey-intro.zgi?p=WEB229K46AWU53.

Join the Liberty High PTSA – if you have not already signed up to receive the Student Directory and “L” window cling, please join us by going to http://www.libertyhighptsa.org/on-line-registration.html. You can also join the e-group to receive important updates, register for the upcoming Fear Free Practice SAT, sign up for eScrip using your Safeway card or just make a donation that will benefit our students. Meetings are the 3^rd Tuesday of the month in room 121 beginning with one on September 15^th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. We hope you will join us.
