Hello Liberty…..
I know there are many questions about our proposed schedule change since the superintendent’s last message on Tuesday. Please know that there have been many conversations and reflections on your messages, especially related to the process used. A message from the superintendent will be sent out to all of you by Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
In the meantime, a few exciting extra-curricular events have been going on. Here are some recent and upcoming happenings:
WOW! How about Godspell? If you missed the production by the Liberty drama students, make sure you talk with someone who participated in or saw the show. Ms. Klekas and the cast did a fantastic job. They represented many of the great things that occur each day at Liberty High School.
Liberty’s Baseball defeated Skyline, 3-2! Liberty will advance to play Issaquah High School on Saturday @ Bannerwood Park, 1:00 pm. The winner of the Liberty/Issaquah game will move on to State. Loser will play again at 7:00pm.
Liberty’s Fastpitch defeated Mount Si, 5-4 in their first game, and lost against Issaquah 10-0 in the second game yesterday. Liberty will play Skyline High School @ Issaquah today, 3:30pm. for 3rd and 4th seeds in District.
Liberty hosts the KINGCO League Track & Field Championships today, beginning @ 2:30pm.
