Liberty Parents:
1. 1st quarter grades are coming out early next week. We are halfway through the semester. The quarter grades are a progress report. The official quarter grade is listed in the Q1 box. The grade in the S1 box is a cumulative grade over the whole semester. S1 includes any assignments assigned after November 2nd . The 2nd is the date for the end of the quarter grade. I hope that is helpful and not confusing.
2. After School Help
· Physical science after school helps begins Thursday, Nov. 8th from 2:30 - 3:30. The schedule will be posted on the website this week. Teachers will be available to help students understand the content and complete assignments. Make-up labs will still need to be arranged with their individual teacher.
· If your student is struggling or has low grades in a Math or an English class. Math and Writing labs are up and running. This is the place to get extra one-on-one help. Our after school tutoring is part of our comprehensive program to insure students experience academic success. When you look at your students quarter grades, make it a priority to have your student get to the after school tutoring. We all need to remind students, academics come first! 4. Winter Sports Registration - B & G Basketball, Gymnastics, Boys' Swim/Dive and Wrestling

DEADLINES:
Gymnastics: FIRST practice is Monday, Nov. 5th
All gymnasts MUST have their eligibility packet completed and turned in by Friday, November 2nd.
B&G Basketball, Boys' Swim/Dive, Wrestling: FIRST practice is Monday, Nov. 12th (this is Veteran's Day).
Yes, the first day of practice for everyone except gymnastics is on a non-school day. Because of this, we WILL NOT be able to take last minute registration packets and clear athletes for participation. The deadline for COMPLETED packets to be turned in will be Friday, Nov. 9th. ANY athlete who misses this deadline will miss the first day of turn-outs for basketball, swim/dive and wrestling.
