The Liberty High School Concert Bands
The Liberty Band program currently has two ensembles, the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. Both ensembles are set up to allow musicians of all levels have a challenging and successful experience.
The Liberty High School Wind Ensemble
The Wind Ensemble is made up of the top winds (brass and woodwinds) and percussionists in the Liberty High School Band Program. Students audition at the end of each year for placement into this ensemble for the following year. During the marching band season (first six to eight weeks), these students make up half of the Liberty High School Marching Band. Once marching season has ended, the Wind Ensemble begins working on more advanced high school level literature for concerts and festivals. The Wind Ensemble performs in several concerts and adjudicated events every year. This ensemble also forms the core group of musicians for Band tours.
