Expectations will apply to all school sponsored activities/events.  “Disruptive or inappropriate appearance” shall include but necessarily be limited to:

1.       Clothing which exposed underpants or any lower body undergarments (any garment is considered a lower body undergarment if it in itself does not otherwise qualify as an acceptable outer garment).

2.       Clothing such as low cut or see through tops which exposes cleavage, when the student is standing with arms and hands extended down their sides.

3.       Skirts or shorts that are shorter than the tips of the thumbs when the student is standing with arms and hands extended down their sides.

4.       Exposed midriffs of more than four inches of exposed navels when the student is standing with arms and hands extended down their sides.

5.       Clothing which exposes the buttocks and/or pubic region.

6.       Clothing displaying logos, symbols, scenes of, or advertisements for tobacco, drugs, alcohol, gangs or other illegal activities which may include but not limited to intimidation, harassment, sexual innuendo, vulgarity, and obscenities.

7.    No hats and hoods are to be worn during the school day.

This is a one year pilot program to be revisited in Spring 2005.
