Sports and Upcoming Events

 

Hey, Freshmen and Sophomores!  Registration for the 2nd session of Traffic Safety is now open.  If you will be 15 years old by December 1st, this is the class for you!  Class runs from Dec. 1st to Feb. 11th, Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.  Spaces are limited, first come-first served.  Register in room 506.  If you have further questions, contact Mr. Thruelsen in room 506. 

 

Hey, Senior Patriots!  Do you want you and your homecoming date to be in the yearbook?  Send or give your homecoming picture to Ms. Cooke by next Friday, Nov. 13, so you can make your appearance! 

 

Yearbooks can be purchased right now for $60.  Last day to purchase these for this year will be next Friday, Nov. 13.  Buy them in the bookkeeper’s office during open hours, or purchase them online.  Don’t miss out!

 

Please note that the attendance office will no longer deliver personal items for students.  If you forgot your backpack, classroom project, lunch, or another necessary school-related item at home, your parent can deliver it to the attendance office and it will be delivered.

 

Information and registration forms for Issaquah Ski & Snowboard School are now available in the attendance office.

Girls’ Swim & Dive at Sea-King District 2 Championships, Mary Wayte Pool (Mercer Island)

 

Saturday, Nov. 7th

 

Varsity Patriot Football will take on the Camas Papermakers in the first round of playoffs, Doc Harris Stadium in Camas, WA, 6:00pm kick-off!

 

Cross Country at State Championship Meet , Sun Willows Golf Course, in Pasco, WA.

 

Girls’ Swim & Dive at Sea-King District Finals, Mary Wayte Pool, (Mercer Island).

 

Attention all girls interested in turning out for basketball:  Open gym is scheduled Mon-Thurs. this week and next.  See the bulletin board outside of the activities office for gym times.  Nov. 16th is the first day of tryouts.  See Coach Snow if you have any questions! 

 

Athletic Registrations are currently being accepted for Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball, Gymnastics, Boys’ Swim & Dive, and Wrestling. Be sure the physical is current, and the athlete does not have any fines.   All athletes turning out for a winter sport must register and receive clearance before the first day of practice.  Gymnastics starts on Monday, Nov. 9th, and the rest follow on Monday, November 16th.  Questions?? See Mrs. Lorbeski in the athletic office.

 

Any boys wishing to turn out for the boys swim and dive team this year should pick up a sports registration form and return it to Ms. Lorbeski by Friday, November 13 in the sports office.  If you have questions about the team, please Ms. Daughters in room 507.
