LHS Patriot Fastpitch Playing Time

I, ____________________________________ (print player’s name), and my parents/guardians, ________________________________ (print parent’s/guardian’s name) understand that playing time is not guaranteed in the Liberty Fastpitch Program. Playing time is strictly the coaching staff’s decision, and no player is guaranteed to play even one inning over the course of the year. Playing time is not distributed evenly. The coaches will try to get each player some playing time, but cannot guarantee any player that they will play any amount of innings. I also understand that the LHS Fastpitch program carries more athletes on its rosters than do most schools in the KingCo league. The idea behind this is to give as many athletes as possible an opportunity to be a part of the esteemed Liberty Fastpitch Program, while at the same time, fielding very competitive teams. This also means that some athletes will not play nearly as much as others. The coaching staff had to cut numerous athletes, and we can guarantee that some of these kids would love to be a part of the program even if they did not play much or at all. All playing time issues should be handled between the coaches and the athletes themselves. Parents are not to become involved in playing time issues at all. By signing below, I am stating that I agree to abide by the “no guarantee of playing time” policy outlined above.
